Dear people interested in Earth, Wind & Fire,
VPRO Tegenlicht is looking for green tech pioneers who will change the world with revolutionary ideas and the technology of tomorrow.
From 1 to 10 December you can vote for your favorite pioneer. Five winners will be presented during the Tegenlicht Meet Up at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam on Tuesday evening, December 13, 2017.
The five winning green tech pioneers are chosen by visitors to the webapp and a jury consisting of sustainable entrepreneur Ruud Koornstra, designer Teresa van Dongen and assistant professor of industrial design Nynke Tromp.
All pioneers have a chance to be portrayed in a broadcast of VPRO Tegenlicht in the spring of 2018.
A green technology developed by me is the Earth, Wind & Fire concept for Natural Air Conditioning, which can be regarded as the most important innovation in the field of indoor environment since the invention of air conditioning at the beginning of the last century. Recently the first pile was driven for Hotel BREEZE in Amsterdam IJburg, the first energy-neutral hotel in the world with Natural Air Conditioning based on the Earth, Wind & Fire concept. Attached video shows how the pile, I was allowed to drive, on 7 November last a symbolic pole hit the ground. The opening of the hotel is planned for the end of 2018.
